Imagine? Nearly the new year and the following came winging it’s way from Canada, via email. How fortunate we are to be alive, have good friends around the world and above all else – to know the limitless smile.
"Just as the sky is not disturbed by the moon, emotions: joy, fear, anger, sadness, love will not leave a mark on who we really are.
We don’t need to resolve.
We are the sky.
Happy New Year Rev. Mugo. May you be free from suffering as you move through the sky.
Michael"
Happy New Year.
Hi Rev. Mugo;
Happy New Year! Great big bows from over here.
(The photo in this post- wonderful. This is the landscape of my childhood, those wide expansive skies.)
This occurred to 4 year old Casimir too,
one evening as he went to bed:
“I am the sky!”
Just had re-read of this and it has put me in mind of the line in the post-mealtime verse,
“We live in the world as if in the sky…..”
Perhaps we should omit the words “if in” but it does tend to spoil the poetic meter of the verse.
We are the sky.
