Spring Tweetings!

Spring Tweetings from Mugo on Vimeo.

At last all conditions have come together to successfully capture video and upload it to Vimeo. Thanks to all who have contributed to make this possible.

In America there is a magazine program called Sunday Morning which I particularly enjoyed watching. This short clip with spring blossom and the birds tweeting away reminds me of this program and of Rev. Master Jiyu since she enjoyed watching it from time to time. It was a quiet moment, I hope it is for you this Sunday.

  1. Thank you so much for the lovely spring flowers. Portland too has blue skies, abundant blossoms and a yard sale next door: all sure signs of spring and sun.

  2. Ahhh, CBS Sunday Mornings…I can still see the giant sun symbol in the background. I grew up with the show and watched until the very last Sunday before I moved to Germany. And you’re right, your video is very much like the last sequence they had each Sunday…no comment, just whatever it was taking place. And then of course on Sunday evenings as a kid it was “Disney” at 5 p.m. and then watching with the adults, “60 Minutes” also on CBS. Good memories…by the way the birds were singing in the Black Forest, too…although the blossoms on the trees are just barely peeking out of their buds.

  3. I am so glad you left this comment Jack. Great to know there is another person who understands the last sequence – with no comment. Just what ever the camera was pointing to. Bit more than that involved of course. And 60 Minutes too.

The video was taken in North Norfolk where I have been for part of this week visiting a couple of monastics. I wonder if I will get to the Black Forest in May. Flights seem to be resuming by all accounts.

  4. even with spring in North Norfolk, which is where the video was taken, in the north there was snow on the pennines last night….

Glad Portland is all sun and spring like. Upcheering, yes?

  5. We have lambs and daisies in the fields and an increased activities of the birds and we have bees now nesting in our garden. Our seedlings have broken through he soil and my Tiger worms in the composter are doing what Tiger worms do. Lancashire is a fantastic place.

  6. Nice to see the clip of spring blossom. I’ll just have to take your word for the birdsong, my hearing aids didn’t pick it up.

Spring is a bit slow this year but its getting here, inexorably.
