Writing Rewarded

Yep, it’s addictive. Take a look, but set a timer or you could be glued to the pink screen for hours. I’m glad to see the heart of the blogger is not moved, even when fame and fortune come stampeding from around the corner.

These words ring for me: Ultimately blogging is people willing to commit time, effort and emotion. How cool is that? Commitment to something worth while is a reward in itself.

  1. I reflect that this blogging business must all be about our need to reach out and be heard. Is it that the most frightening thing would be that we would lose our connection with other humans somehow? Where does this leave the monk in the snow cave I wonder.

  2. I think we all have someting to say somehow, either by writing, saying, painting , music whatever. Even a lone wolf howls.

  3. No, not Ryokan nor indeed specifically any one really, although if I had anything in mind it would probably have been Tenzin Palmo… but also simply the great tradition of monks withdrawing to caves to meditate.
