We've had, and are still having, some freezing weather with some snow. Nothing like what's depicted in this photograph though. A couple of times in the last few days I've had to bail out of planned car journeys due to ice on the roads.
It's not easy to turn around when one is heading in a pre-planned direction. That's especially true when other people are involved.


Such a lovely sky. Brightly alive!

It has been interesting as I have gotten a little older how the concern for, cold, ice and bad road conditions has reduced my getting to the Abbey for morning meditation and service. I am not sure it is wisdom or what. Iknow I feel that something is missing but the body just does not move as well as it did a bit ago. I know recently I have been looking aready for the spring when it feels more comfortable to get there.
