Abide With…Us!

All Nature has a Feeling

All nature has a feeling: woods, fields, brooks
Are life eternal: and in silence they
Speak happiness beyond the reach of books;
There’s nothing mortal in them; their decay
Is the green life of change; to pass away
And come again in blooms revivified.
Its birth was heaven, eternal is its stay,
And with the sun and moon shall still abide
Beneath their day and night and heaven wide.

John Clare

I see that it is one month and one day since the last post here on Jade Mountains. Much water has passed by during those many days. And much growth in the vegetation department too. Did anybody else notice how very GREEN the outdoors is? And, happy am I to say that the physical difficulties I have spoken about have diminished to practically no symptoms. Thank you for your support and for returning here, again and again.

This poem came to me via a reader I didn’t even know was reading. His message pointing out this poem has spurred me, in a good way, to return to posting. I love the poem. Thank you, Jonny.

Note that it is not one Jade Mountain, it’s in the plural, Jade Mountains.

We abide together
sit together
dwell together

a radical act
within the universe
without bounderies

  1. Reverend Mugo, it is so good to hear that your pain has subsided at last.

Thank you for your post today. Your posts are so valued, as are you. I hope that you keep well.

    Best wishes

  3. What a relief you must feel to have much less pain and discomfort, I’m soo pleased to read that.
Always amazes me how quickly we forget the sort of pain we were experiencing once it has got better, until the next time of course. So much gratitude when our bodies can function without the expected pain.
Emotional pain not so easy to forget and triggered so easily by sounds, smells, sights, but I find that each time these triggers occur that pain is altered, experiencing it slightly differently and accepting it again and again.
Glad to see you posting too!
