  1. That post escaped before I had a chance to say anything. This is high tide at Sandscale Haws near Barrow-in-Furness south Lakeland. Much wandering in the dunes looking for a particular wild flower. Not found. However there were more than enough to satisfy.

  2. Beautiful. Reminds me of happy youthful days in Northumberland. Such vast open spaces and so many birds. Thanks for sharing.

  3. That is such a beautiful sandscape, Rev. Mugo! I followed some of your previous links afterwards, reading about the visit of the daughter to her mother in a care-home, and reflected on my own mother who was in a care-home the last few years of her life suffering from Parkinson’s dementia.

And then I read about how your mind felt foggy for many days and coming out of it on a sunny day (such a beautiful image of the Buddha) re-opened things for you. Life, as one gets older (and count me as one!) has different challenges. I am grateful for the peace I am learning through daily meditations which helps me face health and life challenges.

Thank you for your healing perspectives. I enjoy how your mind and spirit share life’s curiosities and difficulties and joys!
