This afternoon I spent a charming few hours with a family I grew to know while living in Edmonton. The young girl of the family and I have grown to be firm friends as you can see from the drawing. While with them I noticed a changed relationship with these youngsters, from being motherly to grandmotherly. From being super charged with energy to one of being OK about sitting in silence or gently chatting.
